The most important thing between a client and the stylist is communication.  It is the key to a positive, lasting relationship between you and your stylist.  It requires the client to be clear about what they want and the stylist to listen.  From there the stylist can use her expertise to guide her client in why, or why not, this would be a good style.  What is your lifestyle like?  Are you willing to style your hair everyday if that's what that cut requires?  Do you have a high or low hairline?  What about your facial shape when considering a new haircut, or choosing a color that will compliment your skin tone?  All those things must be taken into consideration when choosing your style, and your stylist.  You want honesty. You may also want to try a new style, even if it isn't just right for you.  Maybe you need a change.  Pictures can say a thousand words and are helpful to the stylist.  Maybe several pictures. "I like her bangs, and her length, and her color...

Products: Kim takes pride in using the industries top of the line products, including Redken and Loreal.  She carries a full color line of Redken's Shades EQ, Fusion, Gels, and Loreal Inoa.  Shampoo, conditioning, and styling products are free of parabens and sulphites.  Many are organic and many are completely chemical free.

I am not a-la-carte!  I want everyone who receives a chemical service from me (color, highlights, perm), to have fabulous, shiny, healthy hair.  That is why I include, free of charge, a $40 Redken Chemistry deep conditioning keratin treatment after each color or highlight. This treatment lasts an entire month, holding color, promoting shine and restoring ph level.  A blow-dry finish is also included with each and every service.
